boat weight wet
Dry weight – the amount the boat weighs with an empty gas tank. the weight with furniture and passengers aboard. the boat and trailer’s weight combined. these things are useful to know for a few reasons. for starters, the dry weight, as well as your boat and trailer’s weight combined, are both good to know when towing your boat.. Commonly stated as "dry weight," it normally means the weight of the boat without any fluids in tanks. since most builders end up having to ship boats, which requires obtaining an actual measured weight, builders typically ship the boat off to a truck weigh station where the weight is there taken less the weight of the trailer.. Boat manufacturers typically use an average weight of about one hundred and fifty pounds per person to calculate maximum capacity. it can be a little more or a little less, but if some or all of your passengers weigh over one hundred fifty pounds, you may have to decrease the number of passengers you can safely take on board..
boat weight wet Re: dry weight, hull weight, net weight- what's the real weight? no, no towing issue, lift limitation-4000lb. using nada, i know , if you enter ie: hurricane 232 the weight is the same for a 3.0 as a 8.1 .so, i'm guessing it doesn't include i/o weight.can't really use manufacturer specs on new models that don't match older models that may or may not even exist anymore. "dry weight" is not a term used in describing boat weights or displacement. i very much doubt your published weight has much connection with the actual weight. there is an iso standard for calculating displacement but does no necessarily correspond with the weight of the boat as it leaves the factory..
